Life happens.

We get that. It's happened to us, too. The job jumps on you with both feet. A family member dies. Depression gets its claws into you and drags you into hell. You're in survival mode and you don't have the time or energy to keep posting.

By the time things level out, weeks or months have passed, and it feels like the boards have left you behind. You feel like you’ll never be able to catch up on threads and nobody will want to thread with you, anyway. Not after you vanished.

It's not true.

Most, if not all, of us have been through the same thing to some degree. This is a game, a thing that we do to have fun, and it should always take second place to taking care of yourself. But it's also a community made up of friends, and friends don't give up on each other.

Ever.

So if you want to come back, come back, no matter how long you've been out. Let the moderating team know and we'll work with you on the best way to get you back into play, whether that means completing old threads or starting new ones. OC's can simply be reactivated. If you had a canon that you lost for lack of activity while you were gone and the character is still available, we can establish a timeline for re-applying.

And even if you don’t have time to post, you’re welcome to join us on Discord to chat.

Bottom line: no matter how long you've been away, you are always welcome to return to Thedas: Timelines.

Always.
