Ferelden
Ferelden is located in southeastern Thedas. A relatively young kingdom compared to the rest, many other countries consider the people of Ferelden to be backwater barbarians. Fereldans, however, see themselves as strong and hardy with the ability to overcome great obstacles.
Denerim
Denerim is the capital city of Ferelden. It and the surrounding area make up the Denerim Arling. King Alistair and Queen Constance rule from the Palace, and the Arling seat is currently vacant. The city has come a long way in rebuilding since the siege during the Blight.

Arling of Amaranthine
Located on the northeastern coast of Ferelden, the Arling of Amaranthine boasts of a diversity of regions from swamps, to valleys, and even some highlands. Nathaniel Howe rules over the Arling, while his sister, Delilah is Bann of Amaranthine City.
